Applications of this universal testing machine

Universal testing machines (UTM) measure the mechanical properties of materials under tension, compression and flexure. They are the standard tool of materials testing — nearly every material (steel, aluminum, plastic, wood, composite, bolt, reinforcing bar) goes through a UTM at incoming inspection.

With 300 kN it suits steel tensile specimens up to Ø 30 mm, bolt testing per EN ISO 898-1 and plastics/composite tests per EN ISO 527.

Steel tensile testing follows EN ISO 6892-1 (room temperature); plastics tensile testing follows EN ISO 527. Bolt testing follows EN ISO 898-1; reinforcing steel EN ISO 15630. SPC Suisse calibrates the load cell and extensometer traceably per ISO 7500-1 on-site.

Typical users: steel and metal industry, plastics processors, composite manufacturers, accredited testing labs, universities and research institutes.

Manufactured by UTEST Material Testing Equipment in Ankara, one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction-materials testing equipment, supplying more than 130 countries.
