Applications of this special testing system
Special testing systems cover applications where standard machines fall short: dynamic fatigue tests, customer-specific geometries, or product-specific standard tests such as EN 13230 for railway sleepers.
Sleeper testing systems test mono- and twin-block sleepers under dynamic load per EN 13230-2, with frequencies from 2 to 10 Hz and forces up to 1,000 kN. Specimens are fed into the test chamber via a rail feeder.
