Die zentralbelastende (Ring-)Wägezelle gehört zu den neueren Produkten der Wägetechnik. Ring-Wägezellen sind symmetrisch aufgebaut und sehr kompakt. Die Lasteinleitung erfolgt über einen Lasteinleitungsknopf oder ein anwendungsspezifisches Adapterteil über ein durchgängiges Innengewinde in das Zentrum des Sensors.
